She's the second f(x) member to announce her departure this week

K-pop girl group f(x)'s Victoria has announced that she has left SM Entertainment.

She confirmed her departure in a Weibo post written to her fans, reminiscing on her debut 10 years ago and saying: "It's the 10-year anniversary, it is an end and also a beginning. I'm thankful for everything in these 10 years with SM; we will begin the next journey in a new manner".

She also thanked her friends and family, and promised to continue giving her best. She ended by asking her fans to stay by her side with the words: "So would you be willing to walk with me for the next 10 years?".

f(x) made their television broadcast debut on September 5, 2009, ith their debut single "La Cha Ta". Earlier this week, member Amber Liu announced her departure from SM Entertainment also.

Victoria has become immensely successful in China in recent years having starred in multiple dramas and films, and even ranking No.41 on Forbes China Celebrity 100 list in 2019.
