Big Hit Entertainment has denied BTS' Jungkook is dating, after CCTV footage was leaked from a restaurant showing him dining with two people, one of whom was a woman.

In the statement, Big Hit stated that the claims about Jungkook being spread online were false and that he had simply met up with acquaintances while on holiday. In the statement, translated by Soompi, the agency said:

"While in Geoje Island during his period of rest, he found out that his acquaintances from a tattoo shop were also visiting the area. He then met with his tattoo shop acquaintances and other acquaintances from Geoje Island for a meal and had a karaoke session. This is the truth that has been distorted".

The agency further said they will investigate whether the CCTV footage was leaked or if there was any illegal filming and take legal action against any persons involved.

BTS have officially ended their period of rest as of yesterday, and will soon head to Saudi Arabia to continue their Speak Yourself world tour.
