According to police, the idol has been questioned for a traffic violation

UPDATE: Big Hit has released an official statement in which they confirmed "Jungkook was driving his car last week when he had a minor collision with another vehicle due to his own mistake."

There were no major injuries sustained by either party and Jungkook admitted that he violated the Road Traffic Act immediately after it happened. They also stated that the police have not closed the case yet, but an amicable settlement was made with the victim afterwards.

According to Korean news, BTS' Jungkook is currently being investigated by police after causing a car accident.

The idol was booked for violating the Road Traffic Act, after he collided with a taxi while driving his Mercedes Benz in Hannam-dong, Seoul, while allegedly breaking an unspecified traffic law. The accident occurred on November 2.

Jungkook and the taxi driver were both treated in hospital for minor bruises.

Yongsan Police Agency has stated they can't share any other information as the case is currently under investigation.
