The police investigation into voting manipulation on Produce X 101 has been underway for a short time now, and as of November 6, two official arrests have been made.
On November 5, a questioning session was held in court to determine the validity of arrest warrants originally issued against a number of MNet employees involved with Produce X 101. On the same day, Korean news outlet News1 reported that the arrest warrants for CJ ENM producing director Ahn Joon Young and chief producer Kim Yong Bum are valid and the pair are now under arrest.
Both are now under pretrial detention warrants, which mean they can't destroy evidence or leave the country among other things.
The investigation into Produce X 101 began after fans speculated that the final votes in the show had been tampered with. The investigation remains ongoing.
