IZ*ONE's comeback has been postponed, following recent controversies related to Mnet's Produce series and the show's DP, Ahn Joon Young.

In an official statement on November 7, Mnet apologised to fans saying: "We sincerely apologise for causing controversy in our audition program. After carefully deliberating and considering the opinions of our fans and viewers, we decided to delay the release of IZ*ONE's first full album, BLOOM*IZ."

The company also stated they would be postponing IZ*ONE's combeack show which was supposed to air on November 11 in Korea. They also asked people to refrain from spreading rumours about the artists.

Mnet is currently under investigation by police for voting manipulation in the Produce series. PD Ahn Joon Young was reported by SBS Korea News to have admitted to manipulating the results of Produce X 101 and Produce 48, from which X1 and IZ*ONE debuted respectively.
