Congratulations to the winners of South Korea's most prestigious film awards!

The 40th Blue Dragon Film Awards took place on November 21, honouring Korean films released from October 2018 to October 2019.

In totally expected news, Bong Joon Ho's Parasite was the biggest winner of the night with five awards including Best Film, Best Director and Best Actress. Other highlights of the night include Kim Woo Bin's return to the public after over two years, as he presented an award; as well as Park Hyung Sik's unexpected attendance, dressed in his soldier uniform as he's currently serving in the military.

Audience Choice Award for Most Popular Film: Extreme Job
Best Screenplay: Kim Bo Ra (House of Hummingbird)
Best Cinematography/Lighting: Kim Ji Yong, Jo Kyu Young (Swing Kids)
Best Editing: Nam Na Young (Swing Kids)
Best Music: Kim Tae Sung (Svaha: The Sixth Finger)
Best Art Direction: Lee Ha Joon (Parasite)
