The pair have been sentenced on sexual assault charges, and Jung Joon Young for illegally filming women

Jung Joon Young and Choi Jong Hoon have been handed sentences for their crimes related to sexual assault and filming women illegally with hidden cameras.

The Seoul Central District Court sentenced Jung Joon Young to six years in prison, while Choi Jong Hoon has been sentenced to five years.

The court has also ordered them to complete 80 hours of sexual violence treatment, and has limited their employment in facilities related to children and teenagers for five years. Their probation has also been rejected.

Both men were indicted on charges of aggravated rape that took place in 2016 in Hongcheon and Daegu.

Jung Joon Young was also accused of violating the Special Cases Act on Punishment of Sexual Crimes for distributing illegal video footage on 11 occasions, including secretly recording sexual relations with women and sharing the footage in a KakaoTalk chatroom.

Jung Joon Young and Choi Jong Hoon have not stated if they will appeal the sentences.
