Asian pop stars are using their platforms to draw attention to the current crisis

As the Australian bushfire conditions worsen, many Asian pop artists have taken to their social media to inform their large followings about the situation and encourage them to help in any way possible.

From Chinese superstar Zhang Yixing, aka EXO's Lay, to Aussie herself BLACKPINK's Rosé, there's been many Asian celebrities coming out to offer support and donations.

Here's just some of the people currently bringing attention to the bushfires.

BLACKPINK's Rosé

Rosé, who was born in New Zealand and grew up in Melbourne, shared a message to fans about her heartbreak for her home country, and said she'll be doing her best to support and hopes fans will do what they can.

Stray Kids

Bang Chan posted a message to Stray Kids' Instagram on behalf of himself and Felix (who both grew up in Australia), talking about their love for their homeland, with his post including a photo from his childhood.

Jay Park

Jay Park announced he'd donated $30K to the bushfire effort and would be encouraging AOMG to do the same, ahead of the New Zealand and Australian leg of his world tour.

CIX's Kim Seunghun

Seunghun donated money to the National Bushfire Disaster Appeal and shared a snapshot of it to CIX's Twitter account to encourage others to do the same.

VICTON's Byungchan

Byungchan also donated, with his going to the VIC Bushfire Disaster Appeal.
