Another record for BTS!

BTS has broken another record, this time on the Billboard Social 50 Chart!

The group has just hit 164 weeks at the No.1 spot on the chart, making it the longest non-consecutive run for an artist at No.1 on the chart. The previous record holder was Justin Bieber with 163 non-consecutive weeks at No.1.

Billboard's Social Chart ranks artists based on analytics that calculate the most popular artists on social media platforms Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as well as YouTube and Wikipedia. It uses statistics like increase in fans and followers, as well as pageviews and engagement to determine who makes the chart.

BTS haven't fallen from the top spot since July 29, 2017, although their original debut at No.1 on the chart was back in 2016.

With Map of the Soul: 7 set to be released on February 21, we imagine BTS will be staying at the top for a while to come!
