GOT7's Jinyoung has donated an undisclosed amount in aid of wildlife recovery in the Australian bushfire crisis.

The Korean Federation for Environmental Movement (KFEM), to whom Jinyoung made the private donation, stated that Jinyoung donated the money so it can be used to protect and restore the habitats of Australia's native animals such as koalas and kangaroos that have been harmed in the fires.

The amount was not revealed by KFEM to respect Jinyoung's wishes, and the donation was confirmed by his company JYP Entertainment, who also said that Jinyoung didn't want to share any specific details.

Many K-pop idols have been speaking out and donating to the Australian bushfire effort, as well as fandoms who've come together to fundraise.
