Kim Soo Hyun hasn't been in a drama for five years, but that's about to change!

The Korean actor, who completed his military service on July 1 2019, has since only appeared in dramas with small cameo roles in Hotel del Luna and Crash Landing on You. His last drama was 2015's The Producers and his last feature film was 2017's Real. But finally there's some news: he'll be returning to K-dramas in a lead role this year!

The actor will be in tvN's upcoming drama, tentatively titled Psycho But It's Okay. A fantasy-romance, early reports say Kim Soo Hyun will play a health worker in a psychiatric ward who meets a storybook writer who's never experienced love due to a birth defect. It's been confirmed that Seo Ye Ji is in talks to play the storybook writer role.

Psycho but It's Okay is being directed by Park Shin Woo, known for making EncounterJealousy Incarnate and Hyde Jekyll, Me among other dramas.

There's no confirmed date for the new drama, so stay tuned for more info.
