Former YG Entertainment head Yang Hyun Suk will be forwarded to prosecution by police, for threatening the informant involved in iKON member B.I's drug case.

Korean news outlet YTN reported that it has been determined that there is some truth to the accusation that Yang Hyun Suk threatened an informant to change her testimony in regard to B.I's case. B.I faced accusations in June 2019 that he had allegedly attempted to purchase marijuana and LSD in 2016.

Yang Hyun Suk has denied meeting with the informant, however a staff member who was present at the meeting has been investigated by police. This staff member is reported to have used company money to pay for the informant's lawyer in exchange for changing her testimony.

The police now believe that the charges against Yang Hyun Suk of interfering in the investigation are partially true, and thus have forwarded him to prosecution. The prosecution will determine whether he is indicted on the charge.
