BTS has swept the Australian iTunes charts with new album Map of the Soul: 7!

The K-pop boy group released their new album at 8pm AEDT on February 21, and it shot up to the top of the Australian iTunes Albums chart within an hour, and is still at No.1 over 12 hours since release.

Over on the songs chart, BTS is dominating with a clean sweep of the entire top 10. Not only that, the top 14 songs are all new tracks from Map of the Soul: 7

No.1 is title track "ON", followed by the digital-only version of "ON" featuring Australian singer-songwriter Sia. Jimin's solo track "Filter" is at No.3, while the Troye Sivan co-written track "Louder Than Bombs" is at No.4. Rounding out the top five is Jungkook's solo track "My Time".

Other songs in the top 10 include "00:00 (Zero O'Clock)", "Interlude: Shadow", "Inner Child", "UGH!" and "Friends".

BTS took over the worldwide trends on Twitter with the release of their new album, including in Australia where #BTSComeback2020 was the No.2 most popular hashtag in the country.
