YG Entertainment has confirmed that BIGBANG members have renewed their contracts with the entertainment company.

Members G-Dragon, T.O.P, Daesung and Taeyang have all signed on again, making it their third renewal since debuting in 2006. The members all completed their military service in 2019, and have since not made any music-related appearances.

In a statement from the company, the agency said: "BIGBANG has changed the course of Korean pop culture. YG will continue to support BIGBANG so that they can continue to make K-pop history as a representative group of our label". (Source)

There are reports that BIGBANG will make a comeback this year. Their live comeback was planned for April 2020 at Coachella, but the festival has now been postponed to October 2020 due to the global spread of coronavirus COVID-19.
