BTS has surpassed their own record for album sales, with Map of the Soul: 7 becoming the best-selling album in Korean music history.

The album has sold over 4.11 million copies during February, according to Gaon Chart. Considering the album was released globally on February 21, that number accounts for sales for nine days since release.

BTS broke multiple Gaon Chart records in the process: Map of the Soul: 7 is now the highest-selling album ever on Gaon's monthly album chart, and it's recorded the highest sales for an album over the course of a year.

BTS held the record previously too, with 2019's Map of the Soul: Persona selling over 3.71 million copies in a year, and 3.22 million in the first month of release.

Just another day of BTS breaking BTS' records!
