It's been shared by Korean news that actor Lee Yi Kyung saved a person's life.

According to reports, a drunk person was trying to throw themselves in front of a moving truck in the early morning of March 19. The driver fortunately was able to stop before injury was caused.

Lee Yi Kyung was driving the car behind the truck, and when the individual continued to attempt throwing themselves in front of moving vehicles, the actor got out and, along with the truck driver, held the person back from causing further harm to themselves.

According to a witness account, the actor held onto the person tightly to stop them from jumping into the road or off the bridge and into the river. He also gave the person his coat to keep him warm. The police arrived at the scene afterwards and took over the situation.

Lee Yi Kyung's agency has since confirmed the reports, stating that the actor "ran out of the car without thinking because it happened right in front of him. He says he only did what had to be done, so he didn't feel that a story had to be made out of it".

Lee Yi Kyung debuted as an actor in 2011 and has acted in a number of Korean dramas and films. He's best known as one of the lead actors in Korean drama series Welcome to Waikiki.
