The actor has signed to a new agency

Actor Nam Joo Hyuk has left YG Entertainment.

Following reports that the actor's contract with the agency was due to expire, it has now been confirmed that he has chosen not to renew his contract and instead has moved to Management SOOP. 

Management SOOP has a number of Korea's biggest actors under their name, including Gong Yoo, Choi Woo Shik, Gong Hyo Jin, Kim Jae Wook and Suzy.

Nam Joo Hyuk debuted as a model in 2013, before beginning his acting career in 2014. He's starred in a number of successful K-drama since, including Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok JooDazzling and The Bride of Habaek. He is also a brand ambassador for Dior Men as of 2019.

Nam Joo Hyuk is currently busy with both K-dramas and cinema, with film Remember currently being shot and confirmation that he will lead a new drama with Suzy. He's also set to be in a new drama with Lee Byung Hun, Shin Min Ah, Han Ji Min and Bae Sung Woo, in the second half of 2020.
