BTS has become the first ever Korean artist to surpass 20 million album sales.

The K-pop boy group has accumulated 20,329,305 sales through Korea's Gaon charts, across 14 releases over their seven-year career, starting from their debut 2 Cool 4 Skool to last month's Map of the Soul: 7.

Of those releases, seven have surpassed the million-seller mark: Wings (1.13 million); Wings: You Never Walk Alone (1.02 million); Love Yourself: Her (2.22 million); Love Yourself: Tear (2.21 million); Love Yourself: Answer (2.59 million); Map of the Soul: Persona (3.77 million) and most recently 2020's Map of the Soul: 7 (4.17 million) which is also currently the highest-selling album of all time in South Korea.
