Yang Hyun Suk has been forwarded to prosecution with a recommendation for indictment in the case of former iKON member B.I's alleged drug purchase.

Yang Hyun Suk is being investigated on suspicions of having threatened an informant, who gave a statement to police alleging B.I had purchased and used illegal drugs in 2016. It is alleged that Yang Hyun Suk and four others, including a YG Entertainment employee, blackmailed and threatened the informant in an attempt to make them retract their statement.

The informant has also been forwarded to prosecution for allegedly delivering drugs to B.I.

Police have forwarded Yang Hyun Suk and four others to prosecution after finding consistencies between their investigation findings and the informant's statements, as well as other witness statements.

Yang Hyun Suk has denied all charges. Prosecutors will now decided whether he will be indicted for the charges.
