Hyunsik has become the latest member of BTOB to announce his military enlistment.

The 28-year-old idol will be enlisting on the same day as fellow member Sungjae, with both to enter on May 11. Hyunsik will be an active duty soldier once he completes basic training, and the time and location of his enlistment are being kept private as he wishes to enlist quietly.

Hyunsik wrote a letter to fans on Instagram in Korean to share the news.

This now means BTOB are on a brief hiatus as while leader Eunkwang recently completed his service, members Changsub and Minhyuk are still enlisted as an active duty soldier and conscripted policeman respectively. Ilhoon is the final Korean-born member of BTOB who will need to fulfil compulsory military enlistment.
