YG Entertainment has announced that TREASURE's Bang Ye dam will have a solo release ahead of the group's upcoming debut.
Bang Ye Dam, who first appeared publicly in 2012 on K-pop Star 2 at 11 years old, has been training with YG Entertainment for seven years. Ahead of his debut as main vocalist in TREASURE, he'll be releasing his first solo single album in June.
YG Entertainment also elaborated on their release schedule for TREASURE. The group will release three to four new songs starting from July until the end of 2020, in a style similar to BIGBANG's debut back in 2006.
Bang Ye Dam's solo single will be released with a music video, but he won't do any further promotion as he focuses on TREASURE's debut. Read YG Entertainment's official statement below.
