BTS' Suga has earned his first solo Australian No.1 with his new mixtape D-2!

The idol, who produces solo music under the name Agust D, has taken the top spot on ARIA's Urban Albums Chart, making him the first member of BTS to go to No.1 in Australia with a solo release.

D-2 also reached No.2 on the ARIA Albums chart, just behind UK indie band The 1975's Notes on a Conditional Form.

D-2's achievements are made even more impressive considering the album is only available digitally (and is also available for free download), and thus the chart positions were achieved without the help of physical album sales.

D-2 has been a huge success worldwide, and it also charted high on release on Australia's iTunes chart, where it maintained the No.1 spot on the Albums chart for over three days.

BTS also got their second ARIA Albums Chart No.1 this year with Map of the Soul: 7, which 14 weeks after release is still in the charts, this week at No.22, making it the longest charting K-pop album ever on the Australian charts.

Congratulations Suga and Aussie ARMYs!
