YG Entertainment has addressed fan concerns regarding BLACKPINK members' solo releases.

Fans have been vocal online for a long time in their want for YG Entertainment to release solo music from the members, especially Rosé whose solo release has been delayed in the past.

In a statement shared to YG Entertainment's official Twitter account, the agency confirmed that they've been monitoring fans' comments and have a schedule for solo releases from the girl group members.

The agency said they have been working on Rosé's first-ever solo track for over a year, as they were planning to release multiple songs in an album rather than a digital single. The solo work has been completed and Rosé's solo will be released in September after BLACKPINK's full-length album release.

According to the statement, "It is because all members agreed that BLACKPINK's comeback as an entire group and their first-ever full-length album release is more important than anything".

Lisa has also prepared a solo single to follow, and Jisoo is working on her solo release at the moment. They will be released in sequential order following the group's album in September.
