AB6IX member Youngmin has been caught driving under the influence of alcohol.

Brand New Music confirmed that the idol was caught on May 31 drunk-driving, and as a result will suspend all promotions for the time being.

The idol was driving home after a gathering with friends where he had drunk alcohol, and was stopped by police who charged him with a DUI. His driver's license has also been revoked.

Brand New Music apologised to fans for causing concern with the news and promised to prevent this from happening again in the future. They noted that Youngmin is deeply regretting and reflecting upon his actions, and will cooperate with any necessary police investigations.

AB6IX were scheduled to make a comeback on June 8 with mini-album VIVID. It has now been delayed to June 29, and will be a four-member comeback.
