Kuya James has released a new song, this time with artist Emily Wurramara who's jumped on board to lend her vocals and shine a light on her Filipino heritage.

The pair decided to work together after connecting over their shared upbringings in the Northern Territory and swapping stories of Filipino fathers, and the track, titled "Trust", is all about inspiring listeners to know their inner strength, let loose and have trust. 

Kuya James has spoken in the past of the alienation of being an Asian-Australian in the Australian music scene, with a lack of representation, and with his latest single he's aiming to set dancefloors alight and put an Asian face in the Australian mainstream.
