Cyrus Bezyan is a Sydney-based screenwriter and comedian. He’s performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival, Sydney Fringe Festival as well as the 2015 Splendour in the Grass Music Festival.

Cyrus Bezyan is a Sydney-based screenwriter and comedian. He’s performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival, Sydney Fringe Festival as well as the 2015 Splendour in the Grass Music Festival.

In 2013 he was selected for the Sydney Comedy Festival FRESH! Program, which showcases the best emerging comedians and was a 2014 National Finalist in Triple J RAW.

He is a co-creator of the show Conspiracy Theories at The Chaser’s Giant Dwarf Theatre. Cyrus has written on several TV shows and was selected for the ABC’s Fresh Blood Initiative.

In 2014 he had an animated series pitched at the Annecy Animation Festival. Cyrus was a contributor to Project 52 (rated ‘best comedy room in Sydney’ by Time Out Magazine) and holds a Master of Screen Arts from the Australian Film Television and Radio School.
