Actor Toni Collette rose to fame in her early twenties in the 1994 Australian film Muriel’s Wedding. Since then she has established herself on the international stage, earning an Academy Award nomination along the way.

Toni has grown up knowing only one grandparent, her father’s mum, Norma. Delving into the enigma of her grandparents she uncovers a tale of abandonment and tragedy, a secret wartime affair, and an unexpected ancestor. And a DNA test serves only to deepen the mystery.
