Sporting legend Dawn Fraser is a hands-on grandmother who wants to know more about her own grandparents. This Aussie icon discovers she has South American heritage.

Dawn’s swimming career came to an abrupt end after she was accused of stealing a flag at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 and Dawn finds a like-minded soul in her grandmother – learning that she was also charged with theft.

Dawn Fraser delves into her mysterious Latin American ancestry and uncovers the story of a freedom fighter who sacrificed everything for his country’s future and a wife and mother struggling to survive after her husband’s tragic death.
