Sydney Events

Saturday 14 February, Lunar Streets New year Market, Pitt Street, Sydney:

Join SBS PopAsia’s Jamaica dela Cruz and Andy Trieu from 5pm at the City of Sydney’s new Lunar Streets markets as they bring you all of your favourite Asian pop hits, from the middle of the markets!

Saturday 14 February, Hurstville Lunar New Year:

TheSBS Radio Cantonese and Mandarin teams will be at Hurstville all day. The SBS Radio marquee will be bursting with activity, including a free photo booth, singing, dancing, games, interviews and giveaways.

Saturday 14 February, Bankstown Lunar New Year:

Visit the SBS stall from 4pm in Bankstown City Plaza, to see Saigon Place lit up to help celebrate the Lunar New year!

Saturday 21 February, Chatswood Lunar New Year:

The SBS Mandarin and Cantonese teams with be celebrating Lunar New Year with the crowds at Chatswood in 2015. There will be a free photo booth and plenty of entertainment and prizes to be won.

Friday 27 and Saturday 28 February - Fairfield Tet Festival

The SBS Radio Vietnamese team will have plenty of entertainment available across both days for the Fairfield Tet festival, at Fairfield Showground

On Friday 27 February be at Fairfield Tet festival from 7pm, for a live broadcast of the SBS Radio Vietnamese show, with Executive Producer Vinh Hoang.

Then on Saturday, bring the kids along for a special performance by SBS PopAsia from 9pm, straight after the fireworks


Melbourne Events

Sunday 1 February, Richmond Tet Festival

The SBS Radio Vietnamese team will be on site all day and broadcasting the first half of the program live from 7pm. Come find the SBS team for prizes, giveaways and performances on the SBS stage all day.

Sunday 8 February, Footscray Tet Festival

The SBS Radio Vietnamese program will be at the Footscray Tet Festival all day. Come down and say hi to the SBS Radio Vietnamese team!

Saturday 14 February, Chinese New Year, Box Hill:

Join the SBS Radio Cantonese and Mandarin programs from 12pm as they celebrate the impending New Year with interviews, games, giveaways and a free photo booth.

Saturday 21 February, Sandown Tet Festival

The SBS Radio Vietnamese team will be on site throughout the afternoon, recording the program live from Sandown Racecourse from 7pm.  Come along and join them as they play host to special performances, interview guests and give away lots of prizes!

Sunday 22 February, Melbourne Chinatown Chinese New Year Festival 2015:

Chinatown’s Chinese New Year celebrations are one of Melbourne’s biggest cultural events, and SBS will be celebrating with the community all day.

Head to the SBS Radio stage for a free photo booth, plus singing, dancing, traditional performances and demonstrations, guest interviews and plenty of prizes to giveaway!
