The Australian Trade and Investment Minister Andrew Robb has wrapped up his three-day advance trade talks in India.

India is Australia's twelfth largest trading partner and two-way trade is worth approximately $15 billion.

Mr Robb says resources were the main focus, including the sale of uranium.

He was confident the uranium trade would be finalised before the end of the year.

The trip is Mr Robb's third visit to the subcontinent this year.
