Ms Vamvakinou thinks Greece's Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras, had no choice but to make tough decisions, against his ideology and political rhetoric.

She also understands some people might feel dissapointed about the Referendum results not affecting the government's decision for Greece.

Ms Vamvakinou understands most Greeks wanted to stop the austerity measures and stay in the European Union, event though both things are incompatible.
