Social media gurus Hunter Herring and Tyler Matl have amassed a huge following over the past few years, with 105k Twitter followers between them.

Last month the pair posted an inspirational video, both coming out of the closet, and as a couple.

In it, the pair reveal that they've been in a relationship for almost two years, and recently moved in together.

"In case you couldn't tell from the title of this video," Hunter begins, "We're gay!" the pair announce, sharing a quick kiss. "I love you babe," adds Hunter.

The video, they explain, is not only to come out for themselves, but to help their followers who may be struggling with their sexuality accept themselves.

“We feel that so many people, not just with being gay, have a problem accepting themselves and loving who they are for who they are," says Tyler.

“Whether they’re black or white, gay or straight or tall, short, skinny overweight no matter what you are, we want to encourage you guys to love yourselves and be happy with who you are because you’re perfect.”

“So many people struggle with their inner feelings, their outside looks and just being able to accept themselves and love themselves," says Hunter in their coming out video, "we think that's really important to be able to do."

Their joint YouTube channel, HunterAndTyler features stories about their relationship, reactions to current events, and YouTube "tag videos" like The Chapstick Challenge, a blindfolded taste test where they guess different flavoured Chapsticks while kissing.

Congrats guys!
