After a string of terrible, often abusive relationships with the male characters on Game of Thrones, actress Sophie Turner believes it's time for her character Sansa to date women instead.
“The men thing isn’t working for her,” Turner told Entertainment Weekly in a new interview. “In the ‘GoT’ universe, I think she’s going to have to swing the other way.”
As for which of the GoT women she would pair her character with, Turner has a few thoughts.
“Judging by Sansa’s relationship with Margaery … probably Margaery," she says of Natalie Dormer's character, who Sansa grew close to in season three.
Jokingly, Turner added that the writers could also go the route of the Lannisters and hook Sansa up with Arya, Sansa's younger sister.
“I’d like to see that happen,” Turner laughed. “I’d love a love scene between Arya and Sansa.”
