Despite still not quite being over the travesty that was Looking's all-too-soon cancellation, fans of the series have the bittersweet excitement of Looking: The Movie to look forward to.

'Looking' movie gets official HBO premiere date
'Looking: The Movie' will see Patrick return to San Francisco for the first time in almost a year to celebrate a momentous event with his old friends.

The film, which will premiere next week at the SF Film Festival and then air on HBO on July 23, promises to tie up loose ends and give characters Patrick (Jonathan Groff), Agustín (Franke J. Alvarez) and Dom (Murray Barlett) the send-off they deserve.

Today, the trailer has been released, giving us a glimpse of how it's all going to wrap up.

In it, we see Patrick return to San Fran from Colorado for an unnamed wedding, only to realise his return is stirring up unresolved issues he thought he'd left behind. Basically? You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll say goodbye.
