When Chirag Vasavda opted to use the Uber carpooling feature to get to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, he had no idea he was about to have a ~celebrity encounter~.

In today's "Stars, they're just like us!" news, Lance Bass uses Uber Pool, a feature available in several cities which allows you to split the fare with any other users going in the same direction for a cheaper ride, because who doesn't like saving a few bucks?!

The former *NSYNC singer and future Finding Prince Charming  host hopped in the back of Vasavda's Uber with his friend, a former staffer of the Vice President.

The fatal flaw of 'Finding Prince Charming'
"Will there be threesomes? Probably. Will a group of contestants announce mutiny against production and quit in a polyamorous display of sass? Look, its not out of the question," muses Sam Leighton-Dore.

Vasavda said it was a pretty unforgettable journey as the three made their way to the Wells Fargo Centre in southern Philadelphia for the third day of the DNC.

Bass and his friend spent roughly an hour with Vasavda before saying bye bye bye, even going through Secret Service security checks together.

"They waited for me as I was going through," Vasavda told SBS. "They were so awesome it was ridiculous."

Speakers at the convention that night included Vice President Joe Biden, former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and President Barack Obama – all of whom endorsed Hillary Clinton for president.
