Actor and comedian Will Arnett has appeared in a video on comedy website Funny or Die discussing the need to protect one of America's most sacred places - their public bathrooms.

The use of gender-specific bathrooms by transgender kids has been a prominent issue in the United States, with high school student Gavin Grimm learning last week that he will finish his senior year without being able to use restrooms that match with his identity after having his case heard by the US Supreme Court.

In an effort to highlight what is seen by many as the superfluous repeal of President Obama’s guidelines surrounding the accommodation of transgender student rights in public schools by the Trump administration, Arnett produced a tongue-in-cheek video mocking the nullification.

"It’s impossible to deny America’s restrooms are sacred, and now thanks to the Trump administration, we no longer have to fear sharing bathrooms with America’s greatest threat – transgender children!" Arnett states in an unashamedly filthy looking public bathroom.
