Taking to social media, the singer, who recently appeared in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, tweeted a 40-second preview of her version of 'Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)' - originally recorded by the Swedish super group in 1979.

Cher also released the album's tracklisting - and no surprise, all the hits are there.

Dancing Queen Tracklisting:

Fans were quick to label the preview a raging success.

"That Cher clip of her doing 'Gimme Gimme Gimme' sounds straight off an early noughties Pride megamix! Bring it on!" One fan wrote, adding: "If it doesn't get mashed up with Hung Up I'll eat my fascinator."

Cher pens touching note as Adam Rippon named in TIME magazine's list of influential people
