Hot on the heels of New York Fashion Week, Pose star Billy Porter is proving himself as one to watch at London Fashion Week.
According to the Guardian, Porter wore a whopping 14 different outfits across the four-day fashion event.
On any one given day, Porter is reported as having up to four outfit changes, and attending a shows with his husband, Adam Smith.
While sitting front row at shows for Roland Mouret, Victoria Beckham, and David Koma, 49-year-old Porter also working to champion diversity in the world of fashion, speaking to Lindsay Peoples Wagner at a public discussion on inclusivity.
Porter has previously spoken out about why fashion matters so much to him.
Speaking with activist and writer Janet Mock for an issue of UK magazine Gay Times earlier this year, Porter said: “One of the instruments of silencing that I came across when starting is this idea of clothing.
"This idea of how you present. The first impression is what people see, right?”
He added: “We have a construct in our society that certain things mean masculine and certain things mean feminine and you can’t cross those boundaries and not be marginalised or ostracised for it, silenced or dismissed for those things."
Celebrated for his red carpet looks, Porter explained that he'd often been laughed at for what he chose to wear.
"This microscope of masculinity within the media. Men are under this microscope from the moment you hit [the red carpet] and everybody is looking to see if you slip up," he told Mock.
“I’m queer. I’m out. I’m fabulous. I’m a leading man and I’m running shit. I don’t have to adhere to any of these rules and I can go onto these red carpets and play because it doesn’t matter.”
