Next time you complain about being too old to go clubbing, just remember this elderly couple who raved until 5am at famous London nightclub, Fabric.
The unidentified Polish couple, reportedly in their 70s, decided to brave the club's 'WetYourSelf' party after reading a review about Fabric in the newspaper.
The Warsaw couple reportedly did not speak English well, but did confirm with the UK press they purchased the £6 (approx AUD$12) tickets to the party online.
On arrival, the couple were even offered a complimentary bar tab by the club.
But after downing two tequila shots, the septuagenarians asked for cups of tea, says Jacob Husley, a 35-year-old DJ and club promoter for Fabric.
Husley shared his adoration of the elderly twosome on Facebook, with the following post:
"...they were on the dancefloor doing ballroom type dancing, although not too long as she was using a crutch and didn't walk to well," Husley shares, recounting how the couple danced to popular EDM tracks with their old-fashioned moves.
The couple were responsible party-ers, arriving at the club at 10pm "when doors opened" and planning to "take the tube home when it finished at 6am".
The couple, however, headed home around 5am instead, at which point the club insisted they take a taxi back home, which the club paid for.
Reactions to the seniors' presence has been well-documented on social media, with most floored by their continued commitment to having fun at their age.
Apparently this isn't the first time the couple has painted the town red in their later years. The wife confirmed they enjoy frequenting nightclubs in Poland as well.
But the trip to UK was still a fun one for the elderly duo, writes Husley:
"They said they had a great time and loved the crowd and vibe...what an amazing couple."
