Construction is well under way in Dubai for the world’s first Bollywood inspired theme park.
A massive 1.7 million square metres have been set aside to house the mammoth attraction which will try and bring Mumbai's famous film scene to life when its doors open in October.
Divided into five sections, Bollywood Parks Dubai will feature 16 rides based on some of the most popular movie titles.
One 3D tunnel ride is based on the blockbuster Don and recreates a street chase through Dubai, while Lagaan: The Thrill of Victory is a simulated attraction that takes you into Bhuvan’s world.
Apart from the rides, shopping and dining areas as well as live entertainment and music will play an integral part in the overall experience.
The Rajmahal Theatre, who's design takes inspiration from India's royal palaces, will host a permanent Broadway-style musical for 850 guests.
Other attractions meanwhile, will let you dance on a life-size train, try your hand at movie production and immerse yourself in an area known as Mumbai Chowk which seeks to recreate the glitz and glamour of the city of Bollywood dreams.
If the park's projections are anything to go by it looks to be an interesting destination that celebrates some of the most loved films and cultural aspects of Bollywood.
