An American toddler is melting hearts online after a picture of her dressed as Michelle Obama for Halloween went viral.
Three-year-old Parker Curry wore a miniature version of a gown worn by the former US first lady in a portrait at the Smithsonian Institute. The homage received an endorsement from the former first lady herself.
"You nailed the look, Parker! I love it!!!" the first lady tweeted, with a heart emoji.
Twitter was bursting with good vibes at the picture of the sweet toddler.
"Thank you for giving our girls a role model that looks like us!" one user tweeted.
"I’m a 51 year old Latina, and Mrs. Obama has continually filled me with pride and joy! That our girls and young women [WoC et al] can look to her and see intelligence, beauty, compassion, humor and grace nourishes my soul," Shelby Sprague tweeted.
Parker is a long-time Michelle Obama fan.
The public first met Parker when a picture of her staring at a portrait of Michelle Obama at the Smithsonian went viral.
The picture naturally lead to a dance-off with Michelle Obama.
"Parker, I'm so glad I had the chance to meet you today (and for the dance party)! Keep on dreaming big for yourself...and maybe one day I'll proudly look up at a portrait of you!," Obama tweeted earlier this year after the dance party.
Parker's mum Jessica said she wanted to raise a daughter who saw women who looked like her "doing great things".
“In the world we live in today, I’m just trying to raise a little girl who has opportunities to see women who look like her doing great things,” she told Buzzfeed News.
