There's a new type of gin on the block, a gin whose magical powers you'll only dare to believe if you're drunk!

Named aptly 'Anti-Agin', the spirit is developed by London boundary-pushing food art company, Bombas & Parr.

The gin, they claim, can reverse the effects of skin ageing, sun damage, and cellulite. All you have to do is drink it.

According to Warner Leisure Hotels blog who offer the spirit to their UK clients, the gin contains a mixture "pure collagen" and "anti-ageing botanicals".

But this isn't the first food to be fortified with collagen in the name of beauty. In Japan, beauty restaurants, are a popular trend where people can eat collagen-filled foods for a hefty price.

Forgive our skepticism on this one. But healthy, age-defying alcohol seems crazy. (Giphy)

The anti-ageing gin is currently only available in the UK. Though not all UK residents need book a suite at Warner Leisure Hotels. The age-defying gin can be ordered online at drinksupermarket for £34.99 (AUD $65).

But they'll have to wait a bit to try it, as stocks are currently sold out.
