What a man what a man what a man what a women's sport fan.

From protecting endangered rhinoceroses in Zimbabwe to locking himself to a super digger to protest clearing in the Leard State Forest, David Pocock has impressed with me with his willingness to not only stand up for what he believes in but to also put himself out there and act on those beliefs.

Bravo sir.

Having said that, the one thing that has really got me fangirling is his obvious love and appreciation for women’s sport. He doesn’t shout about it but when you stalk, ah, research, yeah.... research, his instagram feed, a clear picture emerges.

The man is a fan.

He’ll cheer on his team

AND he’ll casually wear the jersey while working out

He’ll share his gym and recognise when a 5 times world champion is in the house

And be stoked when she returns the favour

He’ll enter a competition to vote for and meet the player of the match. Adorkable

(and I CAN'T EVEN with that t-shirt).

He’s down with Derby - as we should all be, these women are badass

He recognises not just anyone can be a dual international and perhaps he should leave cricket to the experts

And be gracious in defeat and cheer her on afterwards

He’ll hang out with a baller, wish he was a little bit taller… and use perspective instead

And he LOVES his rugby, of course, and support all who play

So, David, if you’re reading this, I hereby grant you honorary membership to #TeamZela. You’re a true ally.
