What’s your warm up song?

Our Love by Nico and Vinz but it changes when I've played it too much.

What are you watching on TV / streaming right now?

I actually started watching Blindspot on the plane over [to the Houston] and that's kind of got me hooked. Otherwise The Blacklist too.

Vegemite: do you keep in the fridge or pantry?

Pantry of course! I don't think I've ever had vegemite from the fridge.

Favourite other sports?

My favourite sport is football but in general I can just about watch any sport.

Do you have any tattoos?

I have 9 tattoos with more to come probably. Most are hidden with what I wear and they all have meanings. I have a Japanese symbol on my neck meaning strength which was my first tattoo ever, my cap number along my arm, and also my indigenous middle name on my other wrist just to name a few.

To play me in a movie of my life I’d want …

Sandra bullock.

Are you dog or cat person?

Definitely 100% a dog person. Always had dogs around me since I was a baby and now to this day also.

Who was your role model growing up?

My role model was and still is my parents. They kind of gave me the confidence to believe I can do whatever I want if I set my mind to it but also to always be grateful and never take away from my own happiness.

Sporting wise my role model is Cathy Freeman, watching that race at the 2000 Olympics and when she got to celebrate around the track with both the Australian and Aboriginal flag made me realize how much I wanted to represent my country too.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?

Who knows, I didn't even think most of what I've done in the previous 10 years would happen. Id like to think I'd be still involved with football somehow but obviously to have a family and an established career outside of football.
