Here comes the code-hopper!

The multi-talented Jenna McCormick did the damage for the Brisbane Lions as they fought back to defeat the Gold Coast Suns 5.8 (38) to 3.6 (24).

While the 21-year-old scored three goals on the night, they were not the only ones she has scored in 2016.

And her Canberra United teammates were pretty excited to support her, even if she wasn't in green.

The South Australian is one of several players in the new Women's AFL who pull on one jersey in the summer and another in the winter.

It's a trend that is sure to continue as more sports continue to create opportunities for women in sport and we will hopefully see more Jenna McCormick's scoring goals all year round.
