What’s your warm up song?

I don’t have a go to, it depends on how I’m feeling at that moment. But it’s usually upbeat and a song I know the words to! But a lot of the time I just like to be without music so I can take in everything that’s going on around me.

What are you watching on TV / streaming right now?

I’m not a TV person at all. The TV goes on to watch the Australian Open Tennis, and the odd AFL game.

Vegemite: do you keep in the fridge or pantry?

I love Vegemite. I eat it straight from the jar. It’s got to be kept in the fridge though as it just tastes better that way!

Favourite other sport?

I dream about surfing regularly when I stop racing triathlons.

To play me in a movie of my life I’d want …

Rebel Wilson

What do you hope to see from Zela?

I hope SBS Zela can help put sports that aren’t as mainstream as others on the map, while simultaneously improving the coverage of all women’s sport. It’s time that women’s sport is much better recognised.

Who was your role model growing up?

My sisters. They’re both older than me so growing up I probably copied them as much as I could. And I still feel like they are my role models.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years’ time?

No idea. I think being an athlete it’s one year at a time, so after this year I’ll reassess and maybe make a longer term ‘life’ plan then. I do hope that I’m not competing anymore, that’s one thing I’m sure of.

Are you a cat person or a dog person?

Dog, but I don’t have one. I’d love a golden retriever, but will probably never get one.
