1. She’s already a World Champion in the 800m and two-time Paralympian - but she’s ready to break out and star in Rio.

De Rozario won her first major medal at the 2015 worlds, and won a silver medal as part of the 4 x 100m team in Beijing, at the age of 14.

2. Because not only is she in red hot form, but her name is perfect: De RozaRIO - fate, anyone?

3. And she has genuine belief that she can be one of the sport’s greats

“Between major competitions I feel like I’ve had great performances, so I know I can race fast, I know I can race with the girls. Then when it comes down to a Worlds or Games, I feel like I’m not quite right where I know I can be and that’s been very frustrating. But I think I’m finally on a path that’s a lot smoother.”

4. Her coach, Paralympic legend Louise Sauvage, agrees

“Maddie has the potential to be a Paralympic great for sure.” says Sauvage.”I think she’s had a little bit of a taste at the World Champs, and hopefully that’s given her the hunger to reach the next level.”

5. With such a strong role model, it’s no surprise she has this adult business down pat

6. For real

7. Her struggles could not be more real

8. And it’s the same with her food choices

9. She’s not afraid to call people out

10. Her sass level is through the roof

11. That side eye…

12. We could swoon over her all day - de Rozario is all of us

Seriously, where do we sign the application form join her crew?
