You can use your hockey stick as anything. Like, a limbo bar.

Or a leaning post when you get tired

Or for serving drinks

And do other sports

Your stick skills transfer to other aspects of your life

You can whack the hell out of a ball - a good way to get any aggression out

You can represent your country

Hockey is played at the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games and World Cup level - one of the few sports where you can do all three

Hockey is played in pretty much any weather. Which, granted, may not necessarily be a good thing sometimes...

You get to travel to some of the best places on the planet to do something you love

You can wear a ribbon in your hair at any age and it's still acceptable

...And how cool are the facemasks?

But the best thing? You get to make all different types of friends and are brought together for your love of the game #squadgoals
