The Matildas are less than three weeks from their opening Olympic match. We take a virtual tour of their preparations, thanks to the squad’s immaculately curated Instagram accounts.

There’s been gym time.

And some more gym time.

With a few beach days to balance it out.

As well as a bit of pool recovery time.

And a ton of stretching.

Plus the odd cooking class.

Any Matildas camp wouldn’t be complete without some selfies.

Including beach selfies.

And a sunset silhouette snap thrown in for good measure.

But while it looks like a whole lot of fun, there’s no denying the team is there doing work for one reason - an Olympic medal.

The Matildas will play a warm-up match against Brazil, with kick off at 5am AEST on Sunday July 24.
