Several farmers from Punjab migrated to Canada in the last decade where the demand for farmers was very high. Quite a few of them sold part of their land in Punjab and bought some land in parts of Canada.
Today, the Sikh farmers have proven once again that farming is in their blood.

Thanks to farmers like them, Canada is today the second largest producer of this 'healing' fruit which is touted as the analogue version of aspirin.
